Safety-Minded
The most important thing in any photoshoot, particularly if a baby is involved, is safety. To capture those gorgeous posed images takes skill, patience and care. Not only am I trained in safe posing, but I understand how to use props and supports to ensure your child is at no point uncomfortable or at risk. My focus on safety extends to my studio and props, with all props washed, with an additional dose of UV light for extra protection.
A Family Environment
As a family and newborn photographer, I believe that it’s incredibly important to capture a true reflection of your family. Families come in all shapes and sizes, so whether you want to bring along grandparents, siblings, even pets, everyone is welcome. Attention To Detail The simpler a photo is, the more you notice those small details. This is one of the reasons newborn photography often uses neutral colors, to keep attention on the baby. With that in mind, I have a wide range of neutral and pastel props and outfits which bring texture to my images. All of these are of the finest quality, with fabrics including cashmere and alpaca.
Relaxed Day Out
Perhaps the aspect that my clients most enjoy, is the relaxed nature of my sessions. I don’t offer slots on a strict time frame as I simply don’t believe that it creates the right atmosphere for a photoshoot. By keeping my schedule open, I make sure that we have enough time for feeding, nappy changes, and of course cuddles.
