When it comes to newborn photography in South West London, there’s no shortage of options. So, how do you pick the right photographer?
And what sets Tiny Toes by Aggi apart from other options?
I’m passionate about my craft and truly believe that I offer so much more than just pictures, but I also don’t expect you to take my word for it! With that in mind, here are just a few of the reasons that people choose me as their newborn and family photographer.
The most important thing in any photoshoot, particularly if a baby is involved, is safety. To capture those gorgeous posed images takes skill, patience and care. Not only am I trained in safe posing, but I understand how to use props and supports to ensure your child is at no point uncomfortable or at risk.
My focus on safety extends to my studio and props, with all props washed between uses and with an additional dose of UV light for extra protection. Even before Covid-19, I had these measures in place to protect the most vulnerable members of your family. The studio is also equip in special air filter.
Four Hands Are Better Than Two
While many photographers choose to work alone, I see the value in having an assistant on-hand during my photo sessions to help everything run as smoothly as possible. This makes sure I don’t miss a perfect shot, as my assistant is there to help reposition your newborn, or brush a strand of hair out of mum's face.
Not only does this mean I can work more efficiently, but it also makes the entire process much more relaxing for everyone involved.
A Family Environment at family photoshoot
As a family and newborn photographer, I believe that it’s incredibly important to capture a true reflection of your family. Families come in all shapes and sizes, so whether you want to bring along grandparents, siblings, even pets, everyone is welcome. I truly believe that those photos are so important to have.
Attention To Detail
The simpler a photo is, the more you notice those small details. This is one of the reasons newborn photography often uses neutral colours, to keep attention on the baby. With that in mind, I have a wide range of neutral and pastel props and outfits which bring texture to my images. All of these are of the finest quality, with fabrics including cashmere and alpaca.
Relaxed Day Out not just photo session in studio
Perhaps the aspect that my clients most enjoy, is the relaxed nature of my sessions. I don’t offer slots on a strict time frame as I simply don’t believe that it creates the right atmosphere for a photoshoot. By keeping my schedule open, I make sure that we have enough time for feeding, nappy changes, and of course cuddles. I truly aim to make your visit to Tiny Toes by Aggi an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. I always have lots of snacks and drinks available for you. There is few sofas so you can relax with your feet's up while we photograph your baby.
As the studio session idea might appeal to some, I also have in offer photoshoots at location - either in comfort of your home and garden, or in one of beautiful parks in Richmond, Kew or Wimbledon area.
After all, I don’t just take pictures, I help to create memories.
