Now when I say this little girl was the definition of adorable, I mean it. That hair, those eyes, those cheeks, oh my! This gorgeous family arrived at my photography studio in Earlsfield and I knew from the start that we were going to get some amazing photos.
She was such an inquisitive baby, very alert and aware of what was going on around her. We started with some swaddled photos and she was so content being all bundled up in one of the soft wraps that I provide for my shoots. This little lady only had eyes for her mum, but we managed to get a beautiful photo of her looking straight down my lens. Watch out world, we may have a budding photographer in our midst! After a short milk break (or tea for us adults), the excitement all proved too much, and she fell fast asleep in daddy’s arms. We lay her down on one of my snuggliest blankets and took some more photos, changing the accessories as we went.
To finish the session we took some family shots of the three of them and I think the black and white clothing really lent itself well to this style of photo. It highlights without being distracting. I could write a whole separate post on what best to wear for a photoshoot, but that’s for another day!
As Spring is now upon us and we’ve all started to come out of hibernation, my available appointments are fast disappearing. Don’t forget that the first 11 days of your baby’s life are the best window to get this style of photos taken. You’ll kick yourself if you miss it. For photos in your own home I can travel to Wandsworth, Wimbledon and the greater South and South West London areas. Alternatively, I offer sessions from my Earlsfield studio.
